We are a young, international and small independent company,
currently situated inside of the Industrial Technology Research Institute's (ITRI) Incubator in Hsinchu, in the heart of the Taiwanese
"Silicon Valley". Our innovation comes from our own personnel and researchers from ITRI, giving us some technical experience and supportive innovative environment. We possessed combined electronics, opto-electronics and optical-devices expertise, material
and organic chemistry specialists, with experience in molecular and
structural biology in bioinformatics and translational medicine, and in
business development.
    Our aim is to integrate these backgrounds and expertise, to create an ultra-high throughput, cheap and portable optoelectronics-based DNA sequencing device,
pushing further the frontiers of the silicon chip technology.
    We have successfully achieved initial-development milestones and have received funding from many local investors convinced by our visions for developing a low-cost, ultra-high throughput genome sequencing device. We are very excited to be part of a global effort to open the door to the reality of personalized medicine to all people.
